HKISC 2025/26 Regular Recruitment Now Open – Join Our Inspiring Journey! (Deadline: 6 Aug 2025)

Campaign Concept

Inspired by the theme of nurturing and growth, this campaign invites donors to come together and create a ‘forest’ of support for a meaningful cause. Each donation acts like planting a seed — one that will grow into a strong tree over time. Together, these contributions form a thriving forest, symbolising the flourishing impact of choral music and its power to transform the lives of young people.

Supported By

The Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival (HKICF) is organised by The Hong Kong Virtuoso Chorus (HKVC), a registered S.88 charitable organisation. It is dedicated to providing equal access to choral education and fostering a vibrant inter-school choral culture in Hong Kong.

HKICF is now the city’s largest choral event, engaging over 30,000 participants annually through more than a dozen diverse programmes.

Challenges

As a non-profit charitable organisation, we rely on financial support from the public and private sectors as our main source of income. In the current economic climate, we are facing unprecedented fundraising challenges, including major funding cuts, which are undermining our ability to deliver all the projects planned for HKICF 2026.

Amidst these challenges, we remain hopeful because of supporters like you. This “Plant a Choral Seed” fundraising campaign is perhaps born out of a dire situation, but it can be overcome because of our shared passion for music and education.

Your participation will empower us to keep this impactful choral festival going!

Let’s grow
this musical forest together!

For every donation of HKD 5,000, you plant a seed that will grow into:

Your own commemorative leaf* featuring your name(s)^ or logo in our growing Tree of Support, a photo backdrop to be showcased throughout HKICF2026 events;

^ Up to 14 Chinese or 20 English characters
* For donors who plant more than one seed, they may choose between multiple leaves or 1 bigger leaf that is proportionate to the amount of the donation.

An actual tree planted in your name in the “HKICF Forest” in Bhutan where you can track it and follow its growth and ecological impact via the EcoMatcher’s app.

A personalised musical motif composed by renowned musician Warren Lee, handwritten on our Certificate of Appreciation.
