We provide music teachers and conductors with a comprehensive suite of professional development sessions that seamlessly connect pedagogical theory with daily classroom practice. Our training covers a diverse spectrum of disciplines, ranging from vocal pedagogy and conducting techniques to inclusive choral strategies. Notably, our signature Choral Repertoire Reading Session returns this year to showcase and promote original local choral compositions, expanding repertoire choices for school choirs.

Led by renowned composers to explore the structure and nuance of their original works, this session proudly promotes local choral music while enriching schools’ pedagogical resources.

We are honoured to invite renowned music educators from Hong Kong and overseas to lead these lectures, demonstrations, and discussions. They will share practical conducting techniques for school choirs alongside best practices in vocal and choir pedagogies. Participating teachers will receive an HKICF Certificate of Participation and may earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours upon their school’s approval.

Rules & Regulations

Yes, an e-certificate will be sent through email afterwards in due course.

Handouts/slides materials will be sent to the participants only after obtaining the speaker’s consent and approval. We will notify the participants individually. 

If a workshop is cancelled due to reasons such as infectious diseases or adverse weather, the session will not be rescheduled, and no refunds will be provided. Please monitor our website for the latest updates.

HKICF will not provide a refund under any circumstance.
