Since its inception in 2022, the Virtual Choir Project has received unwavering support from students. The project aims to use choral music to raise public awareness and support for social issues and underprivileged groups. As we mark our fifth anniversary, we continue to use music as a catalyst to encourage regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle among the public, bringing positive energy to the community.

This year, the project takes “Sports and Health” as its theme. We are honoured to be supported for the first time by The Hongkong Bank Foundation, and have InspiringHK Sports Foundation as our Collaborative Partner, “Every Life Is A Song” as our Creative Partner, composing the theme song MOVE!, and the TWGHs Kitty Woo Music Development Centre as our Project Coordination Partner. Also, we have the Greater Bay Philharmonic Orchestra and Rugby For Good as our Supporting Organisations. We are also honoured to have Mr. Alex Fong serve as the “VCP2026 IHKSports Ambassador”, while the music video will be produced by the professional film editor, Mr. Alan Cheng.

The project warmly invites schools, community choirs and individuals across Hong Kong to participate. To enhance the experience, participants will receive a learning kit, covering professional dance demonstrations, vocal coaching, and filming guidelines. Furthermore, this edition will debut a “Singing Day” to allow students to receive in- person vocal training while engaging in sports activities, experiencing the dynamic synergy between sports and music. We aim to unite the community through the Virtual Choir Project, promoting health and vitality together.
