HKICF is committed to promoting choral music as a means of social engagement and empowerment. Starting in 2023, HKICF has collaborated with different social welfare organisations to organise virtual choir activities, hoping to use this opportunity to spread the message of love and care through singing and to raise awareness of the underprivileged in society.

Last year, we collaborated with the charity New Sight, to break through geographical boundaries and bring students from Congo, Republic of Africa and Hong Kong together through choral music, to support the charitable work by a Hong Kong physician serving in Africa to restore and protect sight through building an eye hospital.

The theme of Virtual Choir Project 2025 will be mental health awareness. We are proud to collaborate with Mind HK, the mental health charity as the collaborative partner; Every Life is a Song as the supportive organisation. We have commissioned the renowned musicians Ms. Vicky Fung, Mr. Chow Yiu Fai to create the theme song for the project.
