Four participating schools of the Artist-in-Residence programme will perform in this finale concert under the guidance of four overseas experts, in a showcase of their progress and learning outcomes. Apart from outstanding performances by four choirs, the concert will feature a session of mass choral singing where the commissioned piece “A New Day” composed by Mr. Alex Tam will be performed; he will also personally serve as the conductor for the song.

Furthermore, we are honoured to have the Teachers’ Choir as guest performer in this concert. The performance is a culmination of four months of rehearsals, and the choir will be led by conductor Mr. Sanders Lau, and guest conductor Ms. Elise Bradley, MNZM.

Here, we would like to give thanks to Hong Kong Baptist University Academy of Music for supporting the project and providing a venue for the concert. HKBU’s support highlights the importance of tertiary institutions’ contributions towards the development of choral music education in primary and secondary schools. It is our belief that this cooperation will strengthen the exchange between education institutions in Hong Kong.
