HKICF2020 Workshops for Music Teachers – “Singing and Rehearsing Classical Choral Repertoire”

School choirs in Hong Kong rarely perform classical repertoire. While few would dispute that students could learn much from singing classical music, teachers often find it difficult to arouse students’ interests and choose age-appropriate repertoire for their students. In this workshop, renowned Malaysian choral conductor and singer Chi Hoe Mak will share his experience in covering classical repertoire with school choirs in Malaysia and tips for singing classical music with stylistic accuracy.
