🎊 The HKICF2026 Virtual Choir Project Premiere Screening was successfully held at the TungPo Kitty Woo Stadium on 11 Aug!
The event was honoured to have Ms. Joanne Chu, JP, Deputy Commissioner for Tourism of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government as the officiating guest. Ms. Joanne Chu, JP praised: “Through the HKICF Virtual Choir Project, they have connected the power of music with the spirit of sports to provide healthy and positive support for the growth of our youth. I hope this project will continue to expand, allowing more students to express their emotions through song, cultivate focus through rhythm.” For the first time, sports elements were brought to the choral stage, with the professional coach and energetic senior ambassadors leading nearly 600 audience moved along to the dynamic music. Moreover, led by the HKISC (Primary Section) @hkisc_official , the mass singing session of the theme song after the premiere, bringing the event to a perfect close with vibrant and energetic singing.👏
🌟 Now in its fifth year, the project is supported by The Hongkong Bank Foundation for the first time. We are also proud to have InspiringHK Sports Foundation @ihksports as our Collaborative Partner, and Every Life Is A Song @everylifeisasong as our Creative Partner, with its co-founders Ms. Vicky Fung and Prof. Chow Yiu Fai composing the theme song “MOVE!” for the project. Participants build confidence through singing and develop resilience through exercise. The project have TWGHs Kitty Woo Music Development Centre @tungwahgroup as the Project Coordination Partner, with the Greater Bay Philharmonic Orchestra and Rugby For Good @rugbyforgoodhk as the supporting organisations. We are also honoured to have Hong Kong athlete and singer Mr. Alex Fong as the “VCP2026 IHKSports Ambassador”, and professional film editor Mr. Alan Cheng to edit the music video.
