Guest Choir of the Year – Defrost Youth Choir Concert

Led by Professor Thomas Caplin, Defrost Youth Choir will be sharing a diverse repertoire of choral pieces with the audience in Hong Kong for the first time, and give them a taste of authentic choral music from Scandinavia.

The Hong Kong Inter-School Choir (HKISC) will serve as the guest performer. In addition to performing various renowned Chinese and foreign songs, the HKISC will also be performing the world premiere of the commissioned piece “Beneath the Same Moonlight ” composed by Mr. Ernest Hui.

Through this event, we hope to showcase a fusion of Nordic and Hong Kong styles of choral music, and promote the exchange of choral music and the development of musical arts internationally.
