Concerts

Hong Kong choirs have demonstrated a high level of artistic excellence, and the Showcase Concert held last year has received positive feedback, providing a continuous exchange platform among outstanding choirs. HKICF 2024 will present four special concerts, featuring different themes and guests, including: the Opening Ceremony Concert, the Guest Choir of the Year – Defrost Youth Choir Concert, the Artist-in-Residence Programme Finale Concert and the HKICF x HKCC Friendly Concert. We have invited 16 outstanding primary and secondary school choirs to perform in these four concerts, showcasing their musical achievements and diversity, and providing more performance opportunities to school choirs.

In addition, we also plan to hold the Hong Kong Inter-School Choir Concert and the School Choir Incubator Programme Concert in May to June to celebrate their one-year learning journey with the public. These concerts will display the progress and improvement of the participating school choirs, as well as their passion and enthusiasm for choral music.
