Workshop for Music Teachers & Conductors (7): “Hickory Dickory Dock, the Vowel ran around the Clock! The Wiremu Vowel Clock, a tool for developing choral resonance” has concluded successfully!

Thank you, Dr. Karen Grylls (@karen.grylls ), for leading the interactive workshop which explored the innovative pedagogy of Robert Wiremu’s Vowel Clock, a unique tool used in New Zealand to refine vowel resonance and address common issues of choral intonation. The clock evolved not as a theoretical aesthetic, but as a practical tool and a central idea for creating and fixing resonance within a choir. Participants also experienced the cultural exchanges through selected repertoire, including works in the Māori language.
