HKICF2026 Workshop for Music Teachers & Conductors (10): “Sing Together: Rote-Taught Music for Connection and Community” has concluded successfully!
Last night at Tsuen Wan Town Hall, we experienced an energetic and soul-stirring session with renowned Canadian conductor Scott Leithead!
In the workshop, Scott explored the power of communal singing, emphasizing a hands-on approach where participants will learn music aurally, directly from the conductor. This method builds a sense of unity and musical inclusivity, allowing singers to focus on the shared experience of creating music together.
