About VIRTUAL CHOIR Project 2024

HKICF2024 has the pleasure of joining hands with the charity New Sight, to break through geographical boundaries and bring students from Congo Africa and Hong Kong together through choral music to support the charitable work by a Hong Konger serving in Congo Africa to restore and protect sight through building an eye hospital. We hope that this inspirational project can spread love and care for the needs of the world and as a reminder to all of us that everyone is born to make a difference.

This project will be free-of-charge. As the number of participants is limited, please simply fill out the online application form on or before 19 April 2024.

We will confirm your eligibility via email. Each participating school will be provided with the scores, backing track and technical support for video shooting, upon completion of the recording, participating schools will receive electronic certificates in recognition of their participation.

Brief Timeline of the Project

• March 2024: Distribution of learning materials to participating schools
• May 2024: Video collection from schools
• June – July 2024 : Post production of the video
• August 2024 : Official video launch
