Sherry Ye

Assistant Manager (External Affairs)

Sherry YE obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Humanities (First Class) from Hong Kong Baptist University. She later completed a Master of Arts in Anthropology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Professionally, Sherry has chosen to pursue a career in the leisure and cultural sectors, accumulating extensive experience in public relations, social media management, and event management. Projects she has contributed to include: Hong Kong WinterFest, Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open, Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open, Davis Cup (Hong Kong), Art Central, Asian Film Awards, S2O Hong Kong Songkran Music Festival, HYPEFEST Hong Kong, Sotheby’s Hong Kong Exhibitions, HKBU Transdisciplinary Competition, etc.

Sherry has over 12 years of choral experience, and having travelled worldwide with the Guangdong Experimental Middle School Choir for competitions and exchanges, from which she witnessed how choral music transcends barriers and connect people across cultures. Inspired by Hannah Arendt, Sherry believes that action has the power to transform lives and create meaning. Since joining the HKICF, she aims to help participants and the public experience the positive power of change via diverse choral activities and stories behind the scenes.
