Deng Qun is the Conductor of Guangzhou Yuexiu District Children’s Palace Little Skylark Children’s Choir, holds a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting, and is an Associate Professor. She serves as an Executive Director of Guangdong Choral Association and Vice President of Guangzhou Choral Association, concurrently holding the position of Standing Vice Director of its Children’s Chorus Professional Committee. She is an alumna of the National Art Fund’s “Young Choral Conductors Training Program,” led by the renowned conductor Yang Hongnian. She has consistently dedicated herself to the study, research, and practice of choral conducting, achieving remarkable success in children’s, treble, and mixed voice choirs. Under her leadership, the Little Skylark Children’s Choir has participated in numerous international choral competitions, winning multiple gold awards and excellent achievements.
Deng Qun has repeatedly received titles such as “Guangzhou Outstanding Teacher,” “Guangdong Outstanding Musician,” “Yangcheng Outstanding Musician,” “Guangzhou Outstanding Young Conductor,” and “Guangzhou Top Ten Young Conductors.” She also won the Best Conductor Award at the 2nd Hongmian Bei “Pop Chorus Competition” in 2018, the 11th World Peace Choral Festival in 2021, and the Leonardo da Vinci International Choral Competition in 2021.
