Ashley is an avid lover of the arts, with solid experience in communications and development. After graduating from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts in 2019, she has worked with several established cultural organisations, notably the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, and Premiere Performances of Hong Kong.
Over the past five years, Ashley has demonstrated a dedication to fostering meaningful relationships within the arts community, and a strength in project management. She was involved in planning large-scale fundraising galas, coordinated various events like museum open days and VIP cocktails, and revamped advertising packages. Additionally, Ashley has extensive experience in donor/sponsor management, having handled a programme with over 30 sponsors, as well as set up a framework for donors database and more.
Outside of work, Ashley takes part in several community choirs and orchestras, as both a volunteer / concert organising committee member, and a musician. She has been the Internal Vice-chairperson of the Union Philharmonic Orchestra and the Honorary Secretary of the Cultural Association during her HKU years, and joined a university a cappella group as an exchange student at the University of Edinburgh. She obtained the Associate of Trinity College London (Performance) diploma in 2015.
