Amos Wong graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Composition and Electronic Music under the guidance of Clarence Mak and Florence Cheung.
He pursued his Master’s degree in Musical Theatre Writing at New York University. His original musical Hong Kong After Midnight was selected in BEAM2025, the UK’s largest festival of new musicals, and was performed off-broadway in June 2025. Other works include musical adaptation Grave of the Fireflies (Nominated for Best Musical Score at the 2023 Hong Kong Drama Awards), Elevator of Memories (LCSD’s “New Energy Scheme”).
