Fluente Chorus

Fluente Chorus was founded in 2019 by a group of choral enthusiasts with a shared vision: to explore and perform choral music from the 20th century to the present day. Known for its thoughtful programming, the ensemble often presents concerts built around themes, featuring diverse musical styles and languages. Fluente Chorus won a silver medal at the Taipei International Choral Festival, and performed its first large-scale choral-orchestral work, Faure’s Requiem in 2023.

Committed to nurturing the local choral landscape, the ensemble actively collaborates with Hong Kong composers. It has performed Mandarin-language works adapted into Cantonese and regularly commissions new Cantonese choral pieces from local artists, introducing innovative sounds to Hong Kong’s rich choral tradition.
