Mr. Beardsell’s approach emphasises gamifying aural training and music reading, creating a supportive environment where singers revisit foundational concepts and progressively build mastery in a fun and engaging way.  The workshop delves into the transformative power of tonal centering, explores how to harness Pavlovian triggers to enhance learning retention, and provides insights into the scientific principles underpinning intonation.

Mr. Beardsell is a renowned music educator and advocate, known for his work with the National Youth Choir and London Voices. As Musical Director of the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, he conducts the Peace Proms, promoting cross-community relations. He has held directorial roles with major choirs, adjudicated international competitions, and presented seminars worldwide. Greg has collaborated with leading orchestras, commissioned diverse music, and co-produced the International Youth Choir Festival at Royal Albert Hall. He also hosts BBC Radio 3 and BBC Proms programmes as a choral expert.
