Ms. Valvanne, founding director of the Sing & Shine Choirs and Artistic Director of the 2017 Tampere Vocal Festival, is an internationally renowned Finnish choir conductor known for her innovative method, Sing and Shine With Body And Soul. A former singer and vocal trainer of the Tapiola Choir, she created her method in 1994 while earning her Master’s Degree at the Sibelius Academy. She has since become a sought-after guest conductor and clinician globally. After 11 years in the USA, she launched the Sing & Shine Choirs in Finland in 2016, promoting creative, community-oriented choral training. Sanna’s choirs have performed on TV, at festivals, and toured internationally, continually expanding the boundaries of choral expression.
