HKICF2022 Opening Ceremony / Keynote Presentation

For a first in the festival’s history, HKICF will open with a showcase concert featuring outstanding choirs from eight primary and secondary schools. In this opening showcase concert, Mr. Kelvin Lau will serve as the conductor and lead primary school choirs to perform a commissioned song, “Love’s Boundless Flight”, composed by renowned jazz pianist Ms. Joyce Cheung. It is our pleasure to be able to invite Ms. Cheung to perform with the choir at this exciting world premiere of the song. The secondary school choirs will perform another commissioned piece, “A New Day”, composed by Chorus Director of Opera Hong Kong Mr. Alex Tam.
