Join renowned conductor and composer Dr. Darius Lim in the “Building Choral Culture through the VOS (Voices of Singapore) Method” workshop, which is designed for educators and choir leaders passionate about nurturing youth and children’s choirs. Drawing from his extensive experience as the Founder of Voices of Singapore, Dr. Lim will share practical strategies to foster a sense of belonging, ownership, and purpose within choral ensembles.

Participants will gain insights into effective rehearsal techniques, repertoire selection, and performance practices that resonate with young singers, exploring the transformative power of choral music to unite and inspire communities. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from Dr. Lim’s signature approach to choral leadership, blending musical excellence with community-building and emotional engagement. As a special feature, the VOS Children’s Choir will serve as a demonstration choir during the workshop, providing participants an opportunity to have a firsthand look at these teaching methods in practice.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Lim back for his third year at the Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival, where his previous sessions have received outstanding feedback. Don’t miss this chance to learn from one of Asia’s leading choral educators!
