Ms. Anne Chu graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with Bachelor (Honours) and Master of Arts degrees, majoring in Music Education.
Ms. Anne began her distinguished career at CCC Kei Wan Primary School (Aldrich Bay) (formerly Kei Wan Primary School A.M.), where she taught music and helped found the junior, intermediate, and senior choirs. The choirs went on to achieve excellent results and garner countless accolades in choral competitions and festivals, both locally and globally in such places as China, Singapore, Germany, the UK and Canada. In 2014, she joined St. Paul’s Co-educational College, where she has taught music and conducted the Treble Choir since. She received Best Conductor awards in both the 3rd Children’s Choir Festival of China and the 9th China International Chorus Festival (Beijing, PRC). She was once again named Best Conductor of the 2018 Busan Choral Festival and Competition.
Over the years, Ms. Anne has blended her delight in choral singing with her passion in music education for children and youth, imbuing teaching with artistry, reshaping and enriching the way music is promoted and fostered in the younger generation. She was one of the author of the primary school textbook series ‘Longman Music’ (for P1-6), published by the Pearson Publication.
