Simon Tse, a tenor, completed his Bachelor of Music (Honours) Degree with a major in Vocal Studies at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2022, studying under the guidance of David Quah. Prior to that, he received instruction from Caleb Woo and Owen Wong. Simon has taken on various operatic roles, including Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, Ernesto in Don Pasquale, and Beppe and Arlecchino in Pagliacci.
Aside from his work in opera, Simon is deeply passionate about choral music and has participated in performances with several renowned choral groups, such as Die Konzertisten, Hong Kong Youth Choir, and Acapella jazz choir Lacov.
Presently, Simon utilizes his expertise as a vocal and a cappella tutor while also serving as a choir conductor. He leads numerous primary and secondary schools as well as community groups in performances, including Hong Kong Management Association David Li Kwok Po College, C.C.C. Kei Faat Primary School, and Tuen Mun Children Choir, among others.
