As Artistic Director of the Toronto Children’s Chorus and a music educator for over four decades, Elise Bradley has never wavered in her philosophy that children must be given the opportunity to sing music from medieval to modern, from classical to jazz, and from diverse cultures, languages, traditions and genres. In presenting her musical mosaic of Global repertoire for young people, she will take you on a transcontinental musical exploration with recordings and examples – including drum dancing, throat singing, chant, movement, and a rainbow of repertoire reflecting the colours of many beautiful lands and their peoples.
