Artistic Coordinator / Assistant Conductor
Tenor Simon Tse received his Bachelor of Music (Honours) Degree (Major in Vocal Studies) at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2022 under the tutelage of David Quah. Before that, he successively studied with Caleb Woo and Owen Wong. He has performed operatic roles include: Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, Ernesto in Don Pasquale, Beppe and Arlecchino in Pagliacci.
In addition to opera, Simon is also passionate about choral music and has participated in performances with many choral groups, including Die Konzertisten, Hong Kong Youth Choir, Acapella jazz choir Lacov, etc.
Currently, he is a vocal and a cappella tutor and choir conductor, leading many primary and secondary schools and community groups to participate in performances, including Hong Kong Management Association David Li Kwok Po College, C.C.C. Kei Faat Primary School and Tuen Mun Children Choir, etc.
