Over 1,000 choristers from 18 schools took to the stage at the Auditorium of the Sha Tin Town Hall on May 25th and 26th to showcase their year-long learning journey. Their incredible performances received enthusiastic applause from the audience! Special guests, including the Hong Kong Children’s Choir, Yuen Long Children’s Choir, and the Hong Kong Inter-School Choir, joined the event, performing alongside participating school choirs in a collaborative finale piece. This reflects our commitment to fostering a culture of “more learning, more collaboration, more exchanges” in choral music.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated teachers, choral mentors, and our strategic partner Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for their unwavering support in expanding the programme’s reach to 15 primary schools. As the Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival continues to champion the growth of school choirs, we remain committed to providing training for music educators and conductors through the “School Choir Incubator Programme.” Together, we aim to advance choral education in schools across Hong Kong, offering more students the transformative experience of choral singing.
