Strategic Partner Of School Choir Incubator Programme
TWGHs values the importance of choral music education. In addition to setting up joint schools choirs, the Group also established the TWGHs Kitty Woo Music and Art Development Centre (KWMADC) , a centre specialising in providing music training and coordinating music activities to support the development of its choirs. Sharing the same vision with HKICF, TWGHs has actively encouraged its teachers and students to participate in various activities of HKICF since its establishment in 2018, especially Workshops for Music Teachers / Conductors – which made TWGHs the very first school sponsoring body to support professional development for music teachers via HKICF.
In the 2023/24 academic year, TWGHs supported all 15 of its primary schools to participate in the Programme. Thanks to the coordination of our Collaborative Partner KWMADC, HKICF provided professional training and support to nearly 50 primary school music teachers of TWGHs, marking a significant step in the professional development of music teachers and the advancement of school choirs.
Acknowledging the Programme’s success, TWGHs decided to further support the Programme in the 2024/25 academic year. Through TWGHs’ continued partnership, we sincerely hope to raise awareness and attention towards choral education in the academic community, building on the solid foundation to benefit even more students.
