We are thrilled to share that the HKICF2026 Opening Showcase Concert, organised by the Hong Kong Virtuoso Chorus, concluded successfully last night (31 January)! It was truly heartwarming to welcome student representatives from 56 local primary and secondary schools and guests to the opening ceremony, with 8 exceptional school choirs gracing the stage. The evening was filled with beautiful harmonies—from primary school choirs performing the HKICF2025 Virtual Choir Project theme song ”We Sing“ to the moving world premiere of our commissioned work ”God So Loved the World“ by secondary school choirs. The energy and joy in the hall left everyone inspired and wanting more.
This year, HKICF2026 is bringing together 15 events with over 150 activities across three weeks, and we expect more than 40,000 participants to be part of this choral music journey!
