香港校際合唱節首度以音樂會形式舉行開幕禮，大匯演將由 8 間表現優秀的中、小學合唱團擔任主角。在開幕禮中，在藝術總監劉灝顯先生的指揮下，所有小學合唱團會共同演唱由著名爵士鋼琴家張貝芝女士所創作的委約合唱曲目 —《Love’s Boundless Flight》。我們更邀得張女士在開幕禮親自彈奏曲目，與合唱團為大家帶來精彩的世界首演。中學合唱團則會共同演唱由香港歌劇院合唱團總監譚天樂先生所創作的委約合唱曲目《新的一天》。
We are also honoured to invite The Hon Kenneth FOK Kai-kong, JP, member of the Legislative Council (Sports, Performing Arts, Culture and Publication) and Chairman of Hong Kong Arts Development Council, and Mrs. KWOK WONG Wing-ki, Vicki, JP, Deputy Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism to be the officiating guests at the event. They will give a speech at the festival opening to encourage our students to continue developing their talent in choral music, celebrating their contributions to the art and culture scene in the city and bearing witness to the students’ learning journey during HKICF.
